Little star

A star shines in the quiet night,
revealing the memory of a little girl.
That little girl is me,
returning to my childhood.

Now I meet her in the moonlight,
embrace her with all my warmth.
“Little star,” I say to her,
“don’t be afraid, your world will be happy.”

Everything you see, everything you feel,
everything you dream, everything you sense,
trust it – there is power there
that leads you into the bright night.

Aaaaaa ram pam pam …

If fear peeks out, anger, doubt,
and your little face is full of tears,
your courage smolders within you,
sparkling in your heart.

Little star, tonight I walk with you,
unraveling all of childhood.
“Everything will be fine,” I say again,
“this world of ours will be beautiful.”

I hold the little star tightly,
look her in the eyes.
We will always protect each other –
“little me, grown-up you.”

The song Little Star is a gentle dedication to the inner child, inviting a reunion with one’s youthful self and inner innocence. It speaks of embracing fear, doubt, and emotions while highlighting the strength, courage, and warmth that guide us through life. It is also a reminder that we can always connect with ourselves and offer safety, love, and acceptance.
