Posedkanje / Sedyanka
Posedkanje (sitting together), originally from the Bulgarian word Sedyanka, is an old Bulgarian ritual or rural social event. It was an opportunity for socializing while performing manual work like sewing or hulling corn. While working, people would sing, tell stories, flirt, gossip and much more.
